A One Day Workshop with the aim to help you improve your relationship, open to all individuals and couples. Topics include couples conflict resolution, relationship well being, preparation for relationship change, loss and the primary relationship, improving communication, navigating misunderstanding, looking at the influence of the wider family on your relationship, how past patterns still recur. The opportunity for you to reflect, individually or with your partner, on the relationship and to explore, in a supportive environment, feelings, responses to one’s partner, to improve communication and unblock areas of misunderstanding and difficulty, gain insight, tools and techniques to increase well-being within your relationship.

Venue : Phoenix uses rooms at a psychotherapy practice in Dagenham, 15 minutes walk from Dagenham Heathway station ( District Line underground ), accessible to Chadwell Heath, Romford, Barking main line stations, buses 173, 174, 175, 5, 150, 129.
Approach : You will work in a small group giving support, helping gain a sense that your issues are not yours alone. You will work one to one, affording confidentiality and the opportunity to say the unsayable, to speak of your personal feelings and fears. The maximum group size will be 8 people.
Course Conductors : Jacky Ross offers the latest research in positive psychology while Roger Lloyd is a qualified group psychotherapist with 20 years experience.
