Our service is for those experiencing bereavement, seeking anger or stress management, feeling depressed, having low self esteem, and associated issues. We offer sessions local to Barking, Dagenham, Ilford, accessible to Central London, South London, East London, Essex, Kent. Also 1 to 1 work offered. 	About Group Phoenix offers a range of groups conducted by a UKCP registered Group Psychotherapist, group psychoanalyst, offering analytic group psychotherapy click here to find out more Group Therapy More and more frequently people are asking us to provide group therapy or group counselling with a group analyst or group psychotherapist. A small group of up to seven people offers you a safe, regular and reliable space where you can feel supported, share concerns and gently explore your underlying emotional and relationship difficulties from the past and in the present. You will be helped by other group members and from the therapists insights and understanding. Groups typically meet once weekly and happen for one and a half hours. They have proved effective for resolving specific issues such as feelings of anxiety or anger, low self worth, for supporting and encouraging a sense of new hope where you have experienced loss or trauma. Also people use the group to gain greater self knowledge and to explore essential questions of belief. The first step is to attend for an initial consultation, or assessment, with a trained counsellor. Presently the fee for this is £35 - £50, thereafter fees are set according to your means ranging from £13 - £23. Allow up to an hour for this session.
