Phoenix is a low fee counselling service, our fees are low to offer counselling to all. For low cost counselling in East London, our charges for therapy are from £10 a session, our counsellor fee scale reflects your finances, our concessionary counselling is £15 assessment, £10 ongoing.

* Phoenix as a low fee counselling service offers low fee work in our commitment as a “not for profit” social enterprise to provide counselling psychotherapy to everyone regardless of their means.

* This work is provided by counsellors who work directly for Phoenix and is offered at our Dagenham and Ilford centres, providing low cost counselling in East London and nearby.

* To qualify clients need to establish that either their income is low or they receive benefits.

*  Please speak to your counsellor at your initial consultation about the level of fees you can afford and the charges for therapy you feel comfortable with.

* The counsellor fee scale reflects that we offer a professional service.

* All our counsellors hold professional insurance.

* All our counselling, psychotherapy, group therapy and relationship counselling is in accord with a professional code for confidentiality.

* All counsellors work to an ethical framework for good practice.

Last year Phoenix Counselling Service, as a low fee counselling service, served over 350 people by phone, face to face, individual therapy, couples work, group therapy, one day courses, giving low cost counselling in East London and professional therapy across all London.

We continued to offer a no waiting policy for both assessment and ongoing work, offering clients who contacted an appointment within two or three days and that appointment being for within 7 to 10 days at most, sometimes even within 24 hours. Our charges for therapy are designed to reflect your ability to pay.
