We try to use centres in a variety of locations, local and accessible to users of our service, for low cost therapy including group.
Our counsellors offer short term work or brief therapy, recognising that beginning counselling may be an activity strange to those who have been expected to share difficulties only within a family circle or to put on a brave face.
For older people, those with mobility difficulties, we are very prepared to consider working in the client’s own home or place of residence.
The client’s ability to pay is taken into account when setting fees.
We are members of Age Concern, Waltham Forest, Older Peoples Forum and seek dialogue with all older peoples groups.

The first step is to attend for an initial consultation, or assessment, with a trained counsellor. Presently the full fee for this is £35 / £50 in Dagenhan work is offered to those on low income offering reduced fees, thereafter fees are set according to your means. We believe that major improvements in the quality of life can be achieved through receiving counselling even when the counselling takes place in one’s later years.
