Clients come from across Barking, Dagenham, Redbridge, all of East South, North and Central London. Also we offer a bereavement counsellor Essex area. Fuller Description   Phoenix Counselling Service arose out of Age Concern’s Bereavement and Loss Service, so we have long experience and expertise of offering counselling and support to those who have suffered a loss of any kind. You may need extra help following a particular experience such as a sudden loss, separation, divorce or bereavement. The natural feelings we all have at these times should not need to be faced alone.

More and more people are asking for bereavement counselling, a bereavement group, loss counselling, or grief counsellors, counselling bereaved men, low cost bereavement counselling.

Also, at these times, those around you may find it difficult to know how to give support and may be experiencing similar difficulties themselves. This is when to seek professional help. You may wish to see a counsellor alone or you find group therapy helps - click here to find out more 

Phoenix counsellors will see you either at one of our Centres or, if this is more appropriate, in your own home. To make our service available to all at these most painful times of loss, grief, bereavement we will see people for reduced, or where appropriate, no fee. The first step is to attend for an initial consultation, or assessment, with a trained counsellor. Presently the full fee for this is £35 - £50 - in Dagenham £15 those on low income, thereafter fees are set according to your means. Allow up to an hour for this session. In these circumstances we are happy to see clients for individual and group low cost counselling bereaved if called for to help at times of loss, grief counsellors, bereavement, death, separation, divorce, redundancy, death of a pet, for all issues and problems. Where we are unable to offer a counsellor or psychotherapist we attempt to refer clients on to more specialist services.

Much of our low fee work is conducted in Barking, Dagenham offering grief counselling, bereavement counselling workshops, a bereavement counsellor, Redbridge, accessible to most of London Essex bereavement counselling bereaved men, support
