At this meeting the aim is for your questions to be answered and you to decide whether to receive counselling, either for a fixed number of sessions or ongoing. Individual therapy is usually once weekly, meeting for 50 minutes. Whatever you discuss and say to your counsellor is strictly confidential, the counsellor will explain to you at the outset our code of practice in this regard.
